Is Red Light Therapy Worth It?

Have you ever tried Red Light Therapy?

Back in February, I bought a red light device. I had tried Red Light Therapy for my face a few times at my local acupuncture clinic and liked what I experienced.

Then I read even more about the many benefits of Red Light Therapy (aka RLT) and decided that it was worth the investment to buy a device for more regular use at home.

IIn today’s video, I document my 30-day journey with the red light.

RLT has quite an impressive list of benefits:

  • Boosts collagen in the skin & smoothes fine lines
  • Improves hair growth
  • Helps to fade scars, stretch marks & improve skin texture
  • Tightens sagging skin
  • Can improve skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis
  • May improve Depression and support cognitive health (when combined with near infrared light – most devices have this option)
  • Aids in wound healing
  • Helps muscle & injury recovery (when used with near infrared light

There’s currently a ton of research going on to check into even more possible benefits!

RLT is reportedly used by high-performing athletes worldwide. Apparently, the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes use Mito Red Light panels for performance & recovery!

I have to say – I’m obsessed at the effects red light therapy is having on my skin.

RLT can be safely used every day – for up to 20 minutes per session.
